Scope of work

Every project is governed by a written scope signed before work begins, except in emergency mitigation where verbal authorisation is recorded and confirmed in writing within 24 hours.

Estimates provided on this website or by telephone are indicative. The binding figure is the scope produced after an on-site assessment.

Emergency authorisation

For active emergencies you may authorise mitigation verbally so that crews can stop the damage immediately. Mitigation covers extraction, drying, containment, board-up and stabilisation. Reconstruction always requires a separate signed agreement.

Payment

Insurance-funded work is billed to the carrier at Xactimate industry pricing; the deductible is payable by the property owner. Private work is invoiced 50% at mobilisation and the balance on completion, net 15.

Warranty

Workmanship is warranted for 12 months from completion. Materials carry the manufacturer's own warranty. The warranty does not cover new damage from a separate event, deferred maintenance or changes made by other contractors.

Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the contracted work. We are not liable for consequential losses such as lost revenue, and we do not assume responsibility for pre-existing conditions documented in the assessment report.

Cancellation

Scheduled non-emergency work may be cancelled at no cost up to 24 hours before the start time. Cancellation inside 24 hours, or after equipment has been mobilised, is charged at the mobilisation rate stated in your scope.
